What to Expect
“The Work of the People”
The word liturgy means the work of the people!
As we gather for worship on Sunday morning, rather than seeking to be formal, we seek to be a people doing the common work of gathering together to hear the stories of the God who loves us and invites us to share a common meal at the table of Holy Communion.
We don’t do this work to earn God’s love or our salvation. It is all a response to God’s mercy and invitation. It means that the invitation to join in the work is open to persons of all classes, races, ability levels, and backgrounds.
We can’t wait for you to join us as we learn our parts in God’s story together! We don’t promise to be a perfect community; rather, we can only hope to be a community growing together in love of God and love of neighbor.
